  • Split tasks into smaller tasks

This one is easy to follow and effective.

If your task for the day was to do 500 push-ups it seems daunting.

But what if you changed it to: Do 10 push-ups ever half an hour?

It makes it way easier to follow along.

  • Turn off notifications

Easy, click the do not disturb button and start working!

If something distracts you cut it out of your life.

If you follow somebody who constantly posts distracting things instead of unfollowing them block them so you have no temptations.

  • Wake up early

This one is an add-on to the previous one.

If you wake up early there are fewer distractions.

It’s dark Kids are sleeping Social media isn’t active yet Sports teams aren’t playing Job/School doesn’t need you

Altogether it’s just better to wake up early.

  • Stay away from sugar

This one should be obvious as sugar makes you drowsy therefore making you not want to work.

So next time you wake up in the morning and want that sugary bowl of cereal you should think twice because it could be making your entire day unproductive.

  • Set breaks

This one seems counterproductive but it really helps!

Set breaks at certain times throughout the day for 10 minutes.

This helps so when you get back into your tasks you are refreshed and rejuvenated to work.

  • Workout

Working out starts your day off with an energy boost and a feeling of accomplishment which helps you crush any goals.

The discipline from working out each day will slowly start to trickle into other areas.

This discipline is what works when you don't want to.

  • Write out a list

Simply write out every thought about something you want or have to do.

A couple of times each day look back on it and start crossing things off.

This will also ensure that you aren’t sitting around wondering what to do.

  • Stop reading how to be productive!

Go out and apply what you have learned for once.

All of the knowledge in the world means nothing without application.
